Podcast: What is the San Diego Green New Deal?

On the latest San Diego Chronicle Podcast, I catch up with Maleeka Marsden of the Climate Action Campaign to discuss her work with the organization.

CAC recently published the 3rd Edition of the Climate Action Report Card, a document that offers an assessment of the region’s climate planning and climate action to help the public and local governments discern patterns and trends across a vast and scattered set of information. 

Maleeka and I discuss the creation of that document and then transition topics to the San Diego Green New Deal. Much has been made of this effort in recent months, and I wanted to dig a bit deeper into what is coming down the pipes in the San Diego climate activism movement.
