Podcast: Will Moore on Running for San Diego's District 1 City Council Seat

In this episode I sit down with local attorney Will Moore to discuss his newly minted campaign for San Diego City Council. Moore is running to replace current District 1 council member Barbara Bry who herself is making a run for Mayor Kevin Faulconer’s current title when his last term expires at the end of 2019.

In our conversation, Will and I run over his background growing up in Georgia, his pathway to practicing law in San Diego, his evaluation of the political landscape here in San Diego, his leadership style and much more.

We get into some current events when we touch on the mayor’s proposal to eliminate parking minimums and height restrictions on new developments in transit priority ares and news job-rich regions across the city, and have a frank discussion on the pervasive culture of passivity in San Diego government and terminate our talk with a solution-oriented outlook.
