In this week’s episode I interview Martin Sohikish and Chris Gorrie about the festival they’ve co-created with Joel Carrillo, Escorted Trips. 

Full disclosure: I've know that the interviewees for about 15 years. Martin and Chris have been active San Diego musicians for just two years short of that. With their combined experience and knowledge of San Diego's art and music scenes, they opted to work with Joel to create a new festival to showcase up and coming talent from the local area.  

We delve into the backgrounds of Martin and Chris, San Diego’s music scene, and what they hope to accomplish with the festival. A big thank you goes out the Martin and Chris for joining me on the show. Unfortunately, Joel Carrillo couldn't join us for this episode.

The festival is on Saturday, September 1st 2018 at the Ché Café.
